I’ve used this back support daily for 2 months now and felt it was the time to spread the good word. I love this thing. It is not typical as far as the shape or even material goes for a back cushion for your chair. It is so supportive and it feels like a firm, yet soft and kind surface keeping your posture great and back in line.
I’ve got autoimmune issues and tons of inflammation, so I’m in constant low to mid level pain, so having truly ergonomic seating for daily work is vital. Good seated posture has been a problem in the past especially being 6’4″ and 250lbs – hunching to type felt normal. This pillow perfectly fills in the space in between my spine’s natural contour and my chair to create a comfort yet firm posture that has aided in lowering my daily pain. I can’t say that this pillow will solve all of your problems with comfort but it can help significantly. I high recommend it and it is worth the money.

I’ve been very happy with this back support cushion. It seems to encourage me to sit up straighter, not so much because I don’t feel comfortable if I slump, but because I feel so comfortable when I don’t slump. There’s room for my admittedly broad shoulders to go back when I lean back well. If I do lean forward, it’s still comfortable, since it gives even better support to my lower back. This does depend up on my placing it just so, but that’s not difficult to do, just not effortless. I’m not at all inclined to think that it will make me more comfortable in a car or truck, as I generally need side support, but as I haven’t tried it, I don’t know.

I have tried many lumbar support and chair support pads, pillows, foam pads etc. to help alleviate and to help correct my lower back and neck pains from sitting in front of a computer for hours in a day + driving a vehicle, with a seat, that does not offer any lumbar support. I have purchased a few back support pillows and so far this one is the best. I have one more to try out before I make my final decision. It’s pricy, but well worth it. Now that I keep my back firm against the chair and this pillow (instead of leaning forward) my back has no pain. I sat all day one day shopping online and I felt no pain. I have a herniated disc on my L5, S1 and I have lots of back issues. This is good for anyone who needs back support for long term sitting. It’s very firm and that’s what makes it so effective. It may be pricey but it really does work and a good investment for your body and overall health. What I love about Amazon is you can try it and return it if you don’t like.

I’ve promptly updated my review from my original review (see below). It looks like I had just received one pillow that was unfortunately defective. But, I reached out to the manufacturer and they IMMEDIATELY responded (on a Sunday). I showed them the pictures and they immediately sent out a new pillow which I received within 2-3 days. I didn’t even have to send back the original defective pillow. They were extremely helpful and accommodating and completely fixed the situation.
As far as the pillow is concerned, I think it’s fantastic and makes a big difference in my work day. I haven’t tried many but I did my research and I’m glad I chose Comfort Labs pillows. They are worth the cost and with great customer service I feel like they will help if I need it. Definitely recommend.

First off, I was excited to try this back support pillow out. I did my research and the reviews for this are mostly good. I can agree the pillow is very effective and comfortable.
However, I have serious questions about quality control and how durable this pillow is. Maybe I got a bad pillow. But I only received it last week and after 3 days of use the stitches on both sides are coming apart. This is just for a normal office chair, nothing that should cause it to fall apart so quickly. So I’m a bit disappointed and can’t really recommend unless this is just part of a bad batch and your mileage could vary. Hoping they can improve on this as I’d love to use it but not sure how long the pillow will last at this point.

Bought one in Oct 2019 for my desk chair and liked it so much I bought another a month later for my car. It’s now 2021 and they have held up perfectly and I was going to buy another but it looks like the price increased by a solid $30, so I guess I’ll wait for the price to hopefully drop.

This back cushion is a little expensive but I am glad I gave it a try. The funny looking cushion with the odd shape really helps support my back while WFH using my cheap non office chair. It’s simple to add to my chair with the adjustable strap and easy to move it to the right position to support my spine while sitting down. It helps me sitting straighter instead of slumping.
